Today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an over changing world. More than a decade back NPS pledged to transform education. The school is being run under the aegis of well established Management “Njalakam Jama-ath Educational and Charitable Trust.
The role of teachers in making students aware of their social responsibilities and cultural heritage is more significant than ever. Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future by moulding students into responsible global citizens. At our school, we integrate academics with non-academic activities to foster an open-minded outlook toward life and society. This approach emphasizes empathy and promotes positive values by engaging students in numerous activities.
We ensure that every student excels holistically by nurturing four crucial types of intelligence: Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), Social Quotient (SQ), and Adversity Quotient (AQ). Among these, SQ and AQ are particularly important in today's world, where issues such as violence, drug abuse, and various forms of exploitation are prevalent. To instil these qualities, parents and teachers must take necessary steps to cultivate happiness, punctuality, resilience, adaptability, and responsibility in children. Encouraging students to value relationships, participate in sports, and explore the arts will help them develop into well rounded individuals. This, in turn, enables them to think independently and take decisive actions, contributing to a balanced and stronger economic, cultural, and social fabric of our nation.
I take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to my teaching and nonteaching staff, as each one of them is making significant contributions towards restoring this equilibrium.
